These terms and conditions for The Money Cog Ltd. (“The Money Cog”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) should be read in conjunction with our Privacy & Cookies Policy.

By using our website, you are agreeing to be bound by all of these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions. If any changes are made, we will announce it on our website and notify you by email if you have provided it to us.

Registration

If you are a registered member, you can change your password and update your personal information at any time. Also if you forget your password, please use the “Lost Your Password” link on the login page and we’ll send you a link to the email address associated with your username that will let you create a new one. We believe having a diverse set of opinions on a single topic allows for more informed decisions.

Any other copying, distribution, storing, or transmission of any kind or any sort of use of our Premium Content is strictly prohibited without The Money Cog’s express written permission. 

Without limiting the foregoing, you may not republish, post, transmit or redistribute any Premium content to any third party websites, online bulletin, message boards, chat rooms, intranets, or anywhere else or anyone else without our consent. Failure to comply with this may expose you to legal liabilities and damages.

Trials, Introductory offers and Refunds

We may provide you with the opportunity to try one of our subscription-based premium services with a free trial or an introductory offer before you commit to a full subscription. Only one free trial or introductory offer is permitted per household per service. 

For clarity, this means if you previously subscribed to a premium service, cancelled and then subsequently subscribe again, you will not be granted any refunds for any cancellations.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all our subscription-based premium services. Only one refund is permitted per household per service every year. 

For clarity, this means if you previously subscribe to a premium service, cancelled, received a refund, and then subsequently subscribe again, and then cancel your subscription again, you will not receive a refund on your second cancellation, or any thereafter.

The Money Cog reserves the right to terminate the subscription and membership of any subscriber who, in our view, has violated this policy.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Money Cog, and its affiliates, directors, officers, and employees from and against any claim, liability, cost, damage, or loss we may incur, including without limitation, attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in connection with your violation of these Terms and Conditions; or your activities on, or in connection with The Money Cog’s premium services.

Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liabilities

The Money Cog cannot and does not warrant the completeness or accuracy of the news, information, or other content found on our site, or its usefulness for any particular purpose.

You understand and acknowledge that information posted or transmitted by other users are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such material originated. The Money Cog takes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or even truth of the information posted in our areas.

We cannot guarantee the continuous, uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website. There may be times when certain features, parts or content of the website, or the entire website, become unavailable (whether on a scheduled or unscheduled basis) or are modified, suspended or withdrawn by us, at our sole discretion, without notice to you.  You agree that we will not be liable to you or to any third party for any unavailability, modification, suspension or withdrawal of the website, or any features, parts or content of the website.

By using our website or any of our premium services, you are agreeing that bear full responsibility for your own investment decisions and investment research. You also agree that The Money Cog is not and shall never be liable for any decisions made or actions were taken by you or others in reliance upon the news, information, analysis, or any material published by The Money Cog. All information provided on our website is to be used on an “as is, with faults” basis.

We make no promises that our content or premium content will be delivered to you uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. This means you agree to that under no circumstances shall The Money Cog be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or any other type of loss or injury resulting from your use, or downloading any of our content or premium content from our website. Complaint Handling

If you have a complaint please contact our support team by sending an email to support@themoneycog.com with full details regarding your complaint. The Money Cog will attempt to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible and inform you of the outcome of our investigation promptly. This process may take up to eight weeks.

General Information

If any provision in these Terms & Services is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, and you agree that any dispute between you, and The Money Cog will only be dealt with by English courts. If you live in a part of the United Kingdom other than England, the applicable law of that part of the United Kingdom will govern and any dispute will only be dealt with by the courts there. Nothing shall prevent us from bringing proceedings to protect our intellectual property rights before any competent court.
